THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TO FIGHT CLIMATE CHANGE:  TALK ABOUT IT
TED Talk by Katharine Hayhoe, January, 2019.  "How do you talk to someone who doesn't believe in climate change?  In this inspiring, pragmatic talk, Hayhoe shows how the key to having a real discussion is to connect over shared values like family, community and religion -- and to prompt people to realize that they already care about a changing climate.  "We can't give in to despair," she says.  "We have to go out and look for the hope we need to inspire us to act -- and that hope begins with a conversation, today." taken from comments section of the talk.

HOW TO MAKE RADICAL CLIMATE ACTION THE NEW NORMAL
Nobel laureate Al Gore provides us this update to the climate problem in this TED talk from October 2021.  "A net-zero future is possible, but first we need to flip a mental switch to truly understand that we can stop the climate crisis if we try, says Nobel laureate Al Gore.  "In this inspiring and essential talk Gore shares examples of extreme climate events (think: fires, floods and atmospheric tsunamis), identifies the man-made systems holding us back from progress and invites us all to join the movement for climate justice: "the biggest emergent social movement in all of history," as he puts it.  An unmissable tour de force on the current state of the crisis -- and the transformations that will make it possible to find a way out of it." from the "about the talk" section of the talk.

CLIMATE CHANGE DISRUPTION VIDEO
When it comes to climate change, why do we do so little when we know so much?’
Through a relentless investigation to find the answer, Disruption takes an unflinching look at the devastating consequences of our inaction.
The exploration lays bare the terrifying science, the shattered political process, the unrelenting industry special interests and the civic stasis that have brought us to this social, moral and ecological crossroads. The film also takes us behind-the-scenes of the efforts to organize the largest climate rally in the history of the planet during the UN world climate summit.
This is the story of our unique moment in history. We are living through an age of tipping points and rapid social and planetary change. We’re the first generation to feel the impacts of climate disruption, and the last generation that can do something about it. The film enlarges the issue beyond climate impacts and makes a compelling call for bold action that is strong enough to tip the balance to build a clean energy future.  A film by Kelly Nyks and Jared P. Scott.  52 minutes
